DDC reviews preparedness for IPPI 2nd round

District Development Commissioner Mohammad Aijaz today convened a meeting of District Task Force Committee to review the preparedness for 2nd round of Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) to be held from April 02.Chief Medical Officer, Dr Saifudin Khan apprised the members about the comprehensive strategy and joint action plan to be adopted for the programme.While speaking on the occasion  DDC stressed on  creating mass awareness regarding the programme and better coordination among the concerned departments to ensure  cent percent coverage in the 2nd IPPI round .He  asked to lay  special focus on  snow bound and high risk areas which include the children living in slums, Industries, children of nomads etc.Later, DDC also reviewed the progress of District Health Society Ramban. He took a detailed review of the pace of infrastructural development in Health sector, status of   JSY, JSSK and other schemes. Medical Superintendent, BMOs, officers and officials of concerned departments besides the members of various NGOs were also present in the meeting.
