The Punjab government today appointed Bharat Inder Singh Chahal as Advisor to the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh in the rank of Minister of State. Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Chief Minister's Office said that Mr. Chahal, a close confidant of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, had also served as his Media Advisor during previous Congress regime from 2002-2007, in the rank of Minister of state. Known for his long association and close proximity with Captain Amarinder Singh, Mr. Chahal enjoys cordial relations with the journalist fraternity both in Print and Electronic media.
