A corruption free administration will be provided to the people of district SAS Nagar and approach to the general public will be made for better administration. This was stated by Deputy Commissioner Smt. Gurpreet Kaur Sapra while addressing the press at meeting hall of district administrative complex during a press meat.Sapra said that Press is known as fourth pillar of democratic system. As such, press plays a vital role for better administration. Therefore proper coordination between pres and administration is of utmost importance. She also sought feedback from press from time to time. She further said that a special email id for the purpose for seeking suggestions and feedback from the general public has been created as reachdcsasnagar@gmail.com. She further said that any citizen could send any kind of suggestion or feedback for better administration. She said that the ideas/ suggestions thus received will be reviewed for their future implementation. Besides this any citizen could register any kind of complaint / grievance through email atdc.sasnagar.punjab@gmail.com. 

Smt. Sapra said that drugs will be eradicated from the district with the cooperation of general public. Civil & Police Administration will work dedicatedly for this. She further said that adequate arrangements for wheat procurement from farmers will be ensured, so that they could not face any problem.Smt. Sapra said that responsibility of officers will be fixed in the district and negligent officers will not be exempted. She said that works related to Sewa Kenderas will be given priority and timely resolution will be provided. Besides this working procedure in all tehsil offices will be improved. She said that responding the public demand, proper sign boards will be installed at various entry points of District Administrative Complex, so that they could get familiar with the various offices in the complex and get easy directions the requisite offices. She further said that she will not form any camp office rather grievances of general public will be entertained at her office. During this Commissioner Municipal Corporation Sh. Rajesh Dhiman were present.
