Speaker visits Gangyal to review bund construction

Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Kavindar Gupta today said pending construction works in Gandhi Nagar Constituency are being taken up on priority for the betterment of the people of the area.The Speaker was speaking during his visit to Gangyal area where he took stock of ongoing work on a protection bund being constructed on Nallah Gangyal. "I am keen to see all construction works in Gandhi Nagar Constituency completed within the stipulated time," the Speaker said. "Let me assure you that all construction works are being taken up on priority basis for the betterment of the people."The speaker also interacted with the locals and assured them that their problems, particularly related to bund construction will be resolved and said bund construction will be taken up shortly for protection of their life and property during heavy rains. During the visit the Speaker was accompanied by officers of concerned departments.
