DEO Srinagar reviews poll preparedness

In connection with forth coming Parliamentary by-elections for Srinagar-2 Constituency, the District Election Officer (DEO) Srinagar, Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone today convened a review meeting of Nodal Officers of the district here today.Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Joint Director Information Kashmir, Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Deputy Director Information, Farooq Ahmad Baba, election Nodel officers and other officers associated with the election process were present in the meeting.The meeting discussed various matters regarding smooth conduct of Parliamentary by-elections.The meeting was informed that the training programme for poll staff of Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency will be held on March 22 and 23, 2017 at S.P. Higher Secondary School M.A. Road, Govt College for Women M.A. Road, College Of Education, M.A. Road and K.G. Polytechnic Gogji Bagh Srinagar.
