Principal Accountant General, J&K calls on Governor

Subash Chander Pandey, Principal Accountant General, J&K, called on N.N. Vohra, Governor, here at Raj Bhavan, today and explained the salient features of the J&K- Audit Report for the Financial Year 2013-14.Mr. Pandey also briefed the Governor about the mechanisms which d been put in place for promoting excellence in the J&K public sector through the functioning of the Audit and Accounting Services, speedy settlement of pension cases and other activities. The Governor discussed with Mr. Pandey the need for the highest priority being devoted towards the maintenance of financial probity and fiscal discipline in the Government departments and complete transparency in personnel management at all levels.
