Gaiety, colour, fervour mark Holi festivities at TMA

Students of The Maritime Academy celebrated Holi at the  campus covering each other with both dry and wet colours  powders . Organic colors, buckets full of water balloons, thumping music, delicious snacks etc. were arranged at the moment.The festivity also included a dance competition with Holi songs as its theme. A smoke of colors, splashing water reigned the evening and water balloon fight took the event to a whole new level.Neeraj  Kumar TMC Foundation Head was also present at this occasion. He sent  wishes to all the students saying events like this were a real morale booster for the students who must understand the spirit of Holi for an all-rounded personality development. According to him Holi  is celebrated over several days in early spring when the wheat is harvested. The festival marks the coming of spring and observes new life and the seasons.
