Ajay Nanda takes stock of public issues at Sersundwan

Minister of State for Finance and Planning Ajay Nanda today held a public grievance redressal camp at Sersundwan to take stock of problems being faced by people residing in this remote area.Residents from Sermega, Bakkal, Kansar, Bladda, Samad Khad and other surrounding areas participated in the camp and apprised the Minister of their concerns.Several issues including water, power supply concerns, road connectivity, agriculture, horticulture, rural development, old age pensions, scholarships, ration cards were raised by people. They also asked for improvement and blacktopping of Salal to Bakkal road and up-gradation of high school.Locals also demanded for Anganwadi centers for uncovered areas, proper medical facilities for the patients in all panchyats of block Bomag and for filling of vacancies in schools.The Minister provided on spot resolution for many issues by directing concerned officials to take necessary action. He assured the public that for remaining issues, all possible efforts would be made to provide early resolution.

Later, the Minister also laid foundation stone for the Bladda to Bakkal road which would be constructed under convergence of CDF with MGNREGA to facilitate commute for locals.While addressing the gathering, the Minister said that improving basic facilities is high on the agenda of present government and efforts are being made to provide better facilities to the people especially living in rural and far off areas.He further said the welfare schemes and road projects initiated by the present government will improve the living conditions of poor people across the state for which everyone has to make his own contribution as a responsible citizen.Among other the Minster was accompanied by officers and prominent people.
