Interim Budget 2014 gave nothing but disappointment to public: Sat Sharma (CA)

State Incharge of BJP Cells Sat Sharma (CA) has criticized the Interim Budget 2014 and has lambasted the Congress Led UPA Government for playing with the sentiments of the Common Man.In a press statement issued, Sat Sharma (CA) has quoted that the Excise Duty which has been reduced on Car’s and SUV’s is of no use to a Common Man. Excise duty on most of the consumable items including medicines which is being used by the common man has not been even touched by the Finance Minister. Sharma also stated that the exemption limit under Section 80C of the Income Tax Act, still stands on the figure of Rupees One Lakh. Salaries have been increased in today’s date and the limit under Section 80C should also have been changed by the Government. This has only resulted in increased taxes. 

The Senior BJP leader also quoted that the rebate of Rupees Two Thousand granted for people who had income below Rupees Five Lakh under Section 87A has also been withdrawn by the Central Government in Interim Budget 2014 and ultimately common man has suffered. Lambasting the Central Government for its policies which has made Common masses suffered, Sharma also said that the Interim budget 2014 gave nothing but disappointment to public.Few of the draconian sections regarding deduction of Tax at source and interest, penalties and prosecution thereon were supposed to be removed by the learned FM but nothing has been touched on this part.The Senior BJP leader also said that in coming days BJP will definitely form the Government at the Centre and under the leadership of BJP Prime Ministerial Candidate Narendra Modi, India will have a better tax structure which will benefit the Common Masses of this country.
