DC Anantnag reviews status of updation of land records

Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, today convened a meeting of Revenue Officers to review the status of updation of land records in the district.ADDC, Anantnag, ACR, SDMs of Pahalgam, Kokernag, Dooru, Tehsildars and other concerned attended the meeting.On the occasion, the DC directed the Tehsildars to speed up the process of updation of land records and preparation of Jamabandis and Khasra Girdawari. He also directed that the pending Jamabandis and Khasra Girdawari from 2013, till date, be completed at the earliest.He asked the Tehsildars to hold weekly Public Darbaras in every village so that grievances of the public are addressed in an effective manner.The DC directed the concerned to send the proposals of the identified land for the construction of sports stadiums in the district, for which an allocation of Rs.3 crore has already been made.
