A three member delegation of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha led by its State Convener Sh. Chetan Sharma called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan and submitted to him  copy of a memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister.The delegation has: raised the issue of settlement of foreign nationals (Rohingyas and Bangladeshis) in J&K and its adverse impact on State’s resources; demanded their deportation and setting up of a Commission under a retired Supreme Court Judge to identify the facilitators of such immigration; raised issues of  illegal colonies being developed near 4th Tawi Bridge and possibility of their misuse by anti national elements; need for appropriate action being taken against sympathizers, facilitators and patrons of stone pelters; closure of liquor vends on National Highway; making Jammu an alcohol free zone; inclusion of Hindi language and Devnagri script as State’s official language; recognizing Dogri, Gojri, Ladakhi dialects and allocation of budgets for their promotion;  and removing encroachments from government/ forest land.
