Sukhnandan Kumar chairs ‘Petitions Committee’ meet ,Reviews pending petitions

A meeting of the Committee on Petitions of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held under the Chairmanship of MLA, Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar here today.Threadbare discussion was held on the pending petitions including petitions given by a Sarla Devi W/o Late HC Ashok Kumar R/o Village Patyari Bagodh, Tehsil Ramnagar, District Udhampur regarding the appointment case of her son namely Sachin Bandral S/o Late Ashok Kumar No 29/IRP 5th BN under SRO-43.The Committee recommended the Home Department to re-open the case and send it to the General Administration Department for relaxation in the rule.The Committee also discussed petition given by Pawan Kumar Abrol about his transfer from HSS Barmeen to HSS Latti on complaint basis.Legislators, Altaf Ahmed Wani, Yawar Ahmed Mir, Noor Mohammad Sheikh, Pawan Kumar Gupta and Anjum Fazili were present in the meeting and gave their suggestions for early disposal of pending petitions lying pending in the Assembly Secretariat.Principal Secretary, Education, Shaleen Kabra briefed the Committee about the issues pertaining to petitions related to Education Department.Among others, Commissioner Secretary, GAD, Khursheed Ahmed, Director School Education Jammu, Babila Rakwal besides senior officers and officials of concerned department and Assembly Secretariat also attended the meeting.
