JP Singh, Latifi, Nasir take over new assignments: warn send off accorded to Shah

J. P. Singh took over as Inspector General of Police (Personnel) PHQ here today. He was welcomed by senior police officers and staff members on his arrival at PHQ.Mr. Singh has served in different capacities in the department including SP Budgam, Poonch, Doda, Kupwara, Rajouri, Kathua and Crime Jammu, Director SSG, DIG IR Kashmir, Jammu, Baramulla, Home-guards and Traffic.Earlier, Mr. Mubassir Latifi took over as AIG (Personnel) at PHQ. He has served the department as Dy.SP Sopore, Dy.SP Hqr. Jammu, SDPO Shopian and Nowshera, SP South Jammu, District SP Ramban, Kulgam and Rajouri, and SSP Crime Jammu.Mohammad Nasir Khan also joined as Senior Administrative Officer at PHQ. Mr. Khan has served the department in different wings including PHQ, Armed and Kashmir Zone.Latter, SP Bashir Ahmad Shah, who has been transferred and posted as SO to IGP Crime J&K, was accorded a warm send off by the PHQ officers. On this occasion DGP, Dr. S. P. Vaid deliberated on the contribution of Mr. Shah and praised his dedication and hard work during his posting at PHQ. He wished him a successful officer at the new assignment.
