Nine persons were killed and three injured in an explosion in a coal mine in China's Hunan province on Tuesday.A total of 29 people were working underground when the blast occurred at Zubao Coal Mine in Lianyuan city, Xinhua news agency reported. Sixteen miners escaped from the shaft.
