Abdul Rahim Rather chairs Ethics Committee meet

A meeting of the Committee on Ethics of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held under the Chairmanship of MLA, Abdul Rahim Rather here today.Legislators Ali Mohammad Sagar, Haji Abdul Rashid Dar, Aijaz Ahmed Khan, Dina Nath Bhagat, Abid Hussain Ansari and Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar were present at the meeting.Threadbare discussion was held on strengthening the ethics and principles to be observed by the Members in and outside the House to maintain the dignity of the institution of a legislature. It also recommended for implementation of the recommendations of the Financial and House Committees in accordance with Rule 308-A of rules of precedence and conduct of business of the House in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly.Among others, Special Secretary, M R Singh, Additional Secretary, Naseema Jan and other functionaries of Assembly Secretariat were also present in the meeting.
