DDC Baramulla reviews progress of works in key sectors

District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash, today convened a meeting to review progress of various ongoing developmental projects in the district.The meeting reviewed progress made under R&B, PHE, Health, Education, Rural Development and other sectors.On the occasion, the DDC directed the executing agencies to speed up pace of work and ensure timely completion of the projects. Issues pertaining to construction of bridges and roads under PMGSY and MGNREGA schemes were also discussed in detail.The DDC directed the officers to closely monitor the pace of developmental works in their respective domains for their time bound completion and their subsequent benefits at the grass root level.Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, JD Planning, CMO SEs of R&B, PDD, Hydraulic, besides other officers of concerned Departments attended the meeting.
