HDFC Bank Chief Calls On Sukhbir-Offers To Launch BPL Self Employment Scheme

 Dr. Aditya Puri, Managing Director HDFC Bank today called on Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal and assured total support of bank in execution of all development projects of the state besides offering a composite package for upliftment of BPL families. 

Calling on Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Aditya Puri informed that HDFC Bank has chalked out a plan for the support of BPL families would be offered a package under which right from planning of self employment venture, setting of such venture, procurement of raw material for the venture upto arranging fruitful marketing of their end products, bank besides providing working capital support, would also become partner in the progress of that venture. He said that under the infrastructure development plan the bank was willing to support all infrastructure projects being executed in the state. He said that Punjab was the largest and biggest growing economy of the country and HDFC bank wants to become partner in the progress in the state. Prominent amongst those who were present in the meeting included Mr. P.S. Aujla, Principal Secretary to Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Manvesh Singh Sidhu & Mr. Ajay Kumar Mahajan, both Special Principal Secretaries to Deputy Chief Minister. From the Bank side Mr. Gobind Pandey and Mr. Iqbal Singh Laali, both regional heads accompanied Mr. Puri.
