Police in Anantnag has launched a manhunt to trace out the missing mother-daughter missing from their home since February 7.An official said that Police Station Mattan received information that a woman was missing along with her minor daughter since Feb 7.“Police Station Mattan, Anantnag received an information that a lady namely Afroza, wife of  Bashir Ahmad Shah, a resident of Nambal along with her minor daughter was missing since February 07, 2017,” said the official. On this information, a missing report was lodged in Police Station Mattan and a manhunt head by SHO Police Station Mattan has been launched to trace them,” he said.Anybody having any information regarding the missing duo may please contact on 9596777623, 9596777640,  9596777669 or dial 100.”  Meanwhile, police said that a lady who was missing from Dooru area of Anantnag District  has been traced out and handed over to her relatives.Father of a lady reported in Police Station Dooru that his daughter  (name withheld) was missing since 8th of this month. On this information a missing report was lodged and manhunt headed by SHO Police Station  Dooru was launched to trace out the missing lady.Police team after its hard efforts traced the lady yesterday evening and handed her over to her relatives.
