Chief Post Master General calls on Governor

Sanjay Sharan, Chief Post Master General, Jammu and Kashmir, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan .Mr. Sharan briefed the Governor about the progress relating to the computerization of Post Offices in J&K under the information Technology Modernisation Project and about the new facilities being provided to customers in the State, particularly by the Tourist Post Offices.The Governor stressed the need for Post Offices speedily re orientating their functioning to meet the needs of the changing times and their work towards maximizing financial inclusion especially by making banking facilities and other financial products available to the people living in the remote and rural areas.
