Executive Secretary CDR calls on Governor

Sushobha Barve, Executive Secretary, Centre for Dialogue and Reconciliation (CDR), called on Governor N.N. Vohra, at the Raj Bhawan here today.Ms. Barve briefed the Governor about the work being done by the Centre in Jammu and Kashmir for building mutual inter community trust through continuing talks, dialogues and discussions and through the ‘Youth Leadership Programme’ which seeks to engage youth of conflict affected areas of the state and to inculcate in them leadership qualities for overcoming the challenges to peace and stability in the region. Complimenting Ms. Barve for her continuing endeavours the Governor urged her to enhance focus on programmes for orienting the youth to play a definitive and positive role in building the future of the state.
