DC inaugurates Science Programme under RMSA

Deputy Commissioner Samba, Sheetal Nanda today inaugurated a science exhibition under Rashtriya Madhmik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) here at Samba today.During the programme a portable planetarium was showcased displaying various concepts regarding astronomy, stars and galaxy. Besides, an herbal exhibition was also organised in which medicinal plants of nearby areas were displayed and participants were informed about their medicinal values.Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that objective for organising practical/visual demonstrations is to make difficult concepts easier for children. She also emphasized on use of e-learning tools to improve learning in children.CEO O.P Bhagat, Principal Jakh GHSS Deepak Gupta, Secretary Science teacher Association Sayeed Iftiaq, Resource persons Manzoor Javed, Khurshid Ahmed Rather, Dr Ashiq Hussain, Raees Ahmed Dar and Rajan Bharti were also present on the occasion.
