Registrar, Cooperative Societies, B A Bhat   launched the redesigned and updated website of The Citizens' Cooperative Bank Ltd here today.Additional District Development Commissioner, Anuradha Gupta was also present on the occasion.Speaking on the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Dr Arun Manhas, who is also the Administrator of the Bank, apprised that the redesigned and updated website of the bank www.citizenscooperativebankjammu.com shall facilitate the customers and members of the Bank in conducting business transactions smoothly. The website besides helpdesk and suggestion box contains the entire information on the activities and products designed by the Bank for its customers as well as uploading of certain formats.It was also informed that in order to facilitate the members of the Bank in view of forthcoming election to the Board of Directors of the Bank, the updated membership list has also been made available on the website. The shareholders of the Bank can verify their membership number and other details to get these rectified for their hassle free participation in the ensuing elections.

 Registrar, Cooperative Societies, in his inaugural address appreciated the efforts put in by Dr Arun Manhas, Administrator and team of Bank officers to update the website and to streamline the working of the Bank by recovering long outstanding debt involved in NPA cases by auction of properties.He expressed hope that with the dedicated efforts the Bank shall regain its financial health and achieve the desired standards set by the Regulators. He said all requisite steps will be taken to assure free and fair conduct of elections of the managing committee of the Bank.Anuradha Gupta, while speaking on the occasion assured every help and administrative support to the Bank for effecting recoveries.Managing Director of the Bank Ashok Goswamy extended vote of thanks on the occasion.Rakesh Sharma, Tehsildar Recovery, Jammu was felicitated for successful conduct of auction of mortgaged property of a chronic defaulter.Branch Managers and other staff of the Bank were present on the occasion.
