Three structures including a government school building were  gutted in separate fire incidents in Kashmir Valley, police said.A police spokesman in a statement issue here said that fire broke out at Sheeri, Baramulla in which two shops belonging to Ilayas Ahmad Lone son of Mohammad Asadullah Lone of Sheeri and Faisal Rafiq Bhat son of Rafiq Ahmad Bhat of Badmulla Sheeri were damaged. "Fire was brought under control by fire tenders with the assistance of police and locals of the area".The spokesman said that in another incident, fire broke out in the building of Government High School Sarfraw, Gund in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district, resulting in partial damage to the building."Fire was brought under control by fire tenders and locals of the area".Police investigation has revealed that the fire was caused due to space heater (a wood-burning Bokhari) as the school hosts CM's super-50 coaching for students and during class work space heaters are used.

"The room from which fire started was being used for teaching students of 9th class. It had a firewood Bokhari for heating purposes however the outlet pipe was placed improperly right under the roof which caught fire. Three rooms have been gutted in the fire however the record room was saved", another official said.Meanwhile, police and locals foiled an attempt at Peht Dagi Kachama area of Kralpora in north Kashmir's Kupwara district to burn down the primary school, police said."A case has been registered in this regard and further investigation is going on into it", the official said.
