DDC reviews preparedness for Panchayat elections

District Development Commissioner, Ramban Mohammad Aijaz today reviewed the preparedness for the forthcoming panchayat elections.The meeting was attended by the ACD Ramban, DPO Ramban, BDOs, State Nodal Officer  Riaz Ahmed besides others.

During the meeting detailed deliberations were held on various issues including delimitation of Halqa Panchayats, Segregation of Electoral Rolls from the main roll published recently. DDC directed the officers to prepare detail of rationalization of polling stations, delimitation of pacnyats halqas and rationalization/reorganization of halqa panchayats as odd No's like 7, 9, 11 etc.
