Information Deptt organizes awareness programme on ‘Prevention of school Dropout’

District Information Centre Samba in collaboration with ICDS Project Samba today organized an awareness programme on 'prevention of school dropout' here today.Those who participated in the programme include nursing mothers, pregnant women and adolescent girls who avail various services under ICDS scheme.The programme highlighted importance of teachers, parents and society who can play a vital role in prevention of school dropout.On the occasion, ‘New Sargam Group’ presented cultural item and songs on the theme to promote child enrolment.
