Rasheed Detained on way to Rajouri; RSS workers hold demonstration against Rasheed

MLA Langate and chairperson AIP (Awami Itehad Party), Er Rasheed was on Thursday detained by police at Domana near Rajouri while he was on way to attend a public meeting in Kalakote Rajouri.Shortly after his detention RSS workers gathered outside the police station threatening the incumbent lawmaker while raising slogans like, “Gau mata ka apmaan karne wale ko, qatal karo qatal ko (Kill the one who has disrespected Holy cow) & Pakistani agent, Hai Hai (Down with the Pakistan’s agent).”AIP accused SHO police station Domana of instigating RSS workers and helping them to get assembled outside the police station.“SHO Domana called us and asked us to come over for a casual chat. But when we went there, he illegitimately detained us and called the RSS goons to assemble outside the police station,” spokesperson AIP said.He also accused that police has made a nexus with right-winged RSS. “SHO deliberately did it to appease RSS goons,” he said.
