On the appeal of Dr Kumar Vishwas, Convener, AAP Overseas that NRIs “Chalo Punjab”, to save it from the menace of drugs and corruption, thousands of Indians settled abroad reached India recently to campaign for the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab and Goa.AAP Overseas teams’ incredible hard work in the Punjab and Goa elections has become the focus world over. NRIs are supporting AAP with funds, equipments, on ground volunteers etc. which was never seen before driving Amrinder and Badals to issue absurd statements about NRIs.And the good work being done by this campaign is going viral due to the efforts of the social media team lead by AAP Overseas SM Head Shail Gautam and coordinator Dr Atul Bhatla along with Chalo Punjab SM Coordinators Rohit Saini, Kumar Shashwat and Jasveet. This social media campaign has already achieved tremendous results in the one month of its launching. The Chalo Punjab Facebook page already had 32000 likes and reach of more than 20 lakh this week. Not only Facebook but it’s also taking Twitter by storm with its handle already having more than 1100 followers. The Chalo Punjab Campaign is directly connected to nearly 16000 WhatsApp users too.This social media team mentored by Dr Kumar Vishwas is a veteran of many social media campaigns for AAP and has proved it’s mettle again by ensuring that AAP is way ahead in its popularity with NRIS and they are coming in droves from more than 18 countries to ensure a massive victory for the party in both Punjab and Goa on 4th February.
