Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today flayed Prime Minister Narender Modi for comparing former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee with most corrupt Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and described it great insult of Vajpayee who represented a different class of politicians.Gurpreet Singh Waraich AAP state convener in a statement said that Modi during his rally at Kotkapura had justified the corruption and non-governance by SAD-BJP government during last ten years. He said that upsurge among the masses in Punjab was due to large scale corruption and loot of state resources by Badal family of which BJP was equal share holder.Waraich said that drug and illegal mining mafia had spread its roots during the Badal government and BJP being a partner in the government had indulged in mal practices.He reminded Modi that BJP had to replace its all ministers in 2014 due to wide spread corruption done by BJP ministers. He said that BJP had never protested against drug menace and illegal mining rather provided a cover to the misdeeds of Sukhbir Badal and Bikram Majithia who are epitome of corruption.He said that people of Punjab would not buy the logic given by Modi that if SAD-BJP alliance would not be in power, there would by threat of Pakistan. He said that Modi had created a false threat few months back and forced the border area residents to evacuate from their villages. He said that people of Punjab dared Pakistan many times.AAP leader said that BJP had brought people from outside to show crowd to PM who was upset to see thin attendance during his last rally in Jalandhar. He said that people of Punjab have decided to get rid of SAD-BJP alliance and no threats or allurements can change the mind now.
