Deputy Speaker calls on Governor

Mr. Nazir Gurezi, Deputy Speaker, Legislative Assembly, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.Mr. Gurezi apprised the Governor about the work so far concluded in the ongoing Assembly Session and significant matters which were expected to be taken up in the coming days. He also voiced concern about the recent incidents of snow avalanches in Gurez and elsewhere in the Valley and stressed the hardships being faced by people due to heavy snowfall and the resulting loss to life and property.
