Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today attained a big political boost, as renowned Sikh Scholar and former General Secretary of Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) today joined Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of National Convener of the party, Arvind Kejriwal .Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal especially visited the residence of Bhaur, where he (Bhaur) had organized huge gathering and joined the party.While joining AAP, Bhaur said that he was fed up with the promotion of dynasty rule and propagating the “Gundagardi’ and Mafia rule in the state by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and all limits of his tolerance crossed after the sacrilege of Shri Guru Granth Sahib at Bargari and Badals’ failed to crack down the case.It is pertinent to mention here that Senior Akali Leader Sukhbdev Singh Bhaur had resigned from the Akali Dal in wake of sacrilige of holy Guru Granth Sahib and in protest against failure of Punjab Government in protecting the interests of Sikh community in October 2015.

Kejriwal assured Bhaur that after formation of Government by AAP in Punjab, it would be priority to nab those who were behind the incident of sacrilege at Bargari and give them an exemplary punishment, so that no one could dare to commit such kind of inhuman act in future.Kejriwal announced appointment of Bhaur as Senior Vice President of Aam Aadmi Party and said with his joining the party, AAP would get a major political boost.Later on, Bhaur accompanied Kejriwal to address a massive rally at Banga in support of party’s candidate Harjot Kaur from Banga assembly segment.Prominent among others who were present on the occasion include Vice President of the party Prof. Mehar Singh Malhi apart from other AAP leaders.
