National Integration Day observed

Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister, led the State in paying his floral tribute at the statue of former Prime Minister of India, late Smt. Indira Gandhi, on her birth anniversary, at the historic Ridge, here today. The Day is being observed as National Integration Day, all over the country. He was joined by Shri Virbhadra Singh, M.P. and President, HP Congress Committee, Smt. Vidya Stokes, Leader of Opposition in H.P. Legislative Assembly, Shri Sudheer Sharma, Shri Sohan Lal, MLAs, Shri Sanjay Chauhan, Mayor and Shri Tikender Panwar, Deputy Mayor, Shimla Municipal Corporation, former MLAs, Councillors, office bearers of different organizations in the town and school children.

Devotional and patriotic songs were sung to mark the observance. Shri M.P. Sood, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Shimla, Shri Subhashish Panda, Deputy Commissioner, Shimla, other senior officers were also present on the occasion
