Speaker launches construction of lane at Digiana Camp

Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta today launched construction of lane/covering of drain at Digiana Camp here today.

Speaker said that Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) will construct the lane/covering of drain at the estimated cost of Rs 3.50 lakh.He stressed upon the authorities to complete the work as soon as possible so that people get the benefit from it.He said the Government is taking every possible measure to address the problems facing the people of state.While interacting with the people Mr Gupta assured them that their grievances would be addressed and much improved basic services will be provided to them.He said it is the prime duty of the present government to serve the masses and it would be also ensured that no one is ignored and development reaches every nook and corner of the state.Gupta said in coming years we will see a new Jammu and Kashmir state as new infrastructure is coming up in various key sectors.Later Mr Gupta also inspected the ongoing developmental works in Nai Basti Jammu, and directed the concerned authorities to complete the construction of lanes, drains and approach roads within the stipulated time.
