Kishtwar Muslim Shoura Committee held a protest on Friday against attacks on Muslims in Kathua by the goons of extremist Hindu organizations, RSS and BJP.The demonstration was led by Imam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar, Farooq Ahmed Kitchloo, after the congregational Friday prayers.The protesters were carrying placards with messages “RSS ki Dehshatgardi Band Karo, Band Karo (stop spreading RSS terror)”.Addressing the protesters, Farooq Ahmed Kitchloo said that the attack on the Muslim community in Kathua was aimed at vitiating the peace, brotherhood and harmony in the region.Demanding an inquiry into the attack, he said that the Muslims wanted to live with peace and harmony in Kashmir but some miscreants were trying to destroy the peaceful atmosphere of the territory.
