Dy CM compliments BOSE for declaring Class 10 results in record time

Lauds role of Education Department, Teachers, Students

Complimenting the Education Department and J&K State Board of School Education (BOSE) for declaring the Class 10th results for Kashmir division in a record time of 7 days, the Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Kumar Singh has extended his felicitations to the students who have come out with flying colors in the said examination.It is worthwhile to mention the Class 10 annual theory examination in Kashmir division concluded on 28 November 2016, the practical examination concluded on 4 January 2017 and the result was declared by the BOSE on 12 January 2017.The Deputy Chief Minister lauded Minister for Education, Mr Naeem Akhtar and the commendable efforts of the teachers of those government schools that have excelled exceptionally in the examination. He said that several remarkable initiatives started by the Education Department are contributing in qualitative improvement of the educational standards in the State.“It was unfortunate that the students had to face lot of inconveniences due to the unrest but our students and teachers have put in their best efforts to make up for the losses,” Dr Singh said and added that it was only because of the sincere efforts of the teachers, the students and the parents that the successful conduct of Board examinations was possible amid trying circumstances in Kashmir.The Deputy Chief Minister while appreciating the commendable  role played by civil society, the media, the law and order machinery in facilitating smooth conduct of examinations said that their historic and people friendly  service should be appreciated by every section of the society.
