Promises interest free loans to youth and pucca houses

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal today promised interest free loans of Rs 10 lakh to youth to start their own business if the SAD- BJP is returned to power once again.The SAD president, who addressed election meetings at Jandwala Bhime Shah, Chak Dabwala, Sajrana, Kandhwala Hajar khan and Arniwala of this constituency, said the loans would be provided to the youth after giving them skill training so that they can become successful entrepreneurs.Mr Badal also announced that the SAD- BJP alliance would initiate a massive drive to provide pucca houses to all the houseless in the State. He assured the people that special emphasis would be given to the border belt, particularly Ferozepur district, under this drive.The SAD president said as far as the work done by the government in the last five years was concerned, it was there before the people. "We have provided holistic development and ensured that this border constituency did not lack for anything".

Telling the people to measure him by the work done by him, he said it was for the people to take control of his campaign. "I will be campaigning in the entire State and might be away for long periods. It is for you to make my campaign yours", he said amidst loud cheers.Speaking about his political opponent Bhagwant Mann, he said it was for the people to judge whether they should trust a person who was in the habit of even visiting holy places under the influence of liquor. He said not only visit holy places drunk, Mann had even attended parliament under the influence of liquor.Mr Badal also urged the people to recognise those who were with them and outsiders who wanted to befool them with false promises. He said AAP had betrayed the farmers on the issue of SYL and river waters while Congress had freezed recruitment and even stopped the free power facility to farmers as well as welfare schemes. He said in direct contrast the SAD BJP government had provided all round facilities to each and every section of society and ensured record development.
