Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today said that the decision of Congress party not to field son of estranged SAD MP Sher Singh Ghubaya against Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal from Jalalabad has exposed the collusion between Congress and SAD.AAP campaign committee chairman and MP Bhagwant Mann in a statement said that PPCC president in an interview telecast on ABP TV channel has announced that Davinder Singh Ghobaya son of estranged Akali MP who joined Congress recently would not be contesting from Jalalabad, instead he will be party candidate from of Fazilka. Mann said that AAP was raising the point that Capt Amarinder Singh and Sukhbir Badal had secret pact and serving each other's political interests.Mann said that AAP had already expressed apprehensions that Congress will shift Ghubaya's son from Jalalabad to help Sukhbir Badal. He said that Capt Amarinder Singh had justified the shifting of Davinder Singh Ghubaya saying that it was desire of his family. He stated that Congress would put up a weak candidate against Sukhbir Badal. He said that SAD has already fielded former army general JJ Singh a week candidate against Capt Amarinder Singh since former has no base of him in Patiala.

Mann said that Badal family was using all illegal means to scare the Ghubaya family to force them to support Sukhbir Badal. He said that Vigilance department had raided the college run by Ghubaya family and Union minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal had threatened Sher Singh Ghubaya. He said that admitting son of Ghubaya was a pre-planned strategy to neutralise influence of Ghubaya family. He said that Rai Sikhs had majority in Jalalabad and they are not supporting SAD.Mann said that Capt Amarinder Singh had also admitted his sin that he had helped revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia from CBI probe in the drug case. Capt Amarinder Singh had justified his stand saying that all the central agencies had already investigated the role of Majithia in drug case and they failed to find any evidence against him. Capt Amarinder also claimed that he opposed CBI probe and also told the then PPCC president Partap Singh Bajwa that if any material is found against Majithia, High Court would order the probe. Mann said that Capt Amarinder Singh had betrayed the people of Punjab and played cruel joke with the victims of drug menace.Mann said that it was shameful on part of Capt Amarinder Singh who is adopting double standers on drug issue. On one hand he was saying he would eradicate drugs within one month after forming government and on the other hand he is shielding the 'king pin' of drug trade. He said that drug lord Jagdish Bhiola had blamed it publically that Majithia is the king pin of whole synthetic drug trade. Mann asked Capt Amarinder to apologise from people of Punjab for his misconduct.
