Election Commission must take strict action against Akali leaders meeting criminals in jails- Sanjay Singh

Captain must contest from Jalalabad to test his popularity among masses, AAP contesting elections against SAD+BJP+Congress alliance

“The Election Commission of India must keep a tab on the Akali leaders meeting criminals in jails as they can use criminals to terrorize the voters during elections.” Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh while addressing the media at Chandigarh said this. He said that the news of Akali leaders from Abohar meeting Shiv Lal Doda in Fazilka jail is an eye opener for the authorities. AAP leader said that Doda was openly holding sangat darshan programme inside the jail but the officers under pressure from Badals were avoiding taking action against him.Expressing pleasure over Sukhbir Badal announcing to contest from Jalalabad, Sanjay Singh said that finally Sukhbir showed courage to announce his candidature. “So finally Bhawant can place order for printing his posters.” He quipped. He said that Akali-Congress combine will be thrown out by the voters this time. “Amrinder Singh boasts of his popularity among the masses, it is high time that he should contest from Jalalabad to test it.” Sanjay said. 

He said this Sukhbir, Majithia and Captain ask Arvind Kejriwal to contest against them but never think of contesting against each other.Answering a query about survey reports Sanjay Singh said, “This is nothing new with us as these surveys were predicting less than 10 seats of AAP in Delhi elections but AAP had set a record by winning 67 seats out of 70. We will repeat the history and Punjab will break the record of Delhi this time.” He said that huge support of Punjabis and crowd at rallies shows that AAP will sweep the elections.Talking about Jarnail Singh’s candidature, Sanjay Singh said that he has sent his resignation to Delhi Vidhan Sabha speaker and applied for vote in Punjab. “Jarnail will definitely contest from Lambi and defeat Parkash Singh Badal.” He said.“Congress leaders are more concerned about their ticket than meeting people of Punjab. All leaders are camping in Delhi for last few months and have lost connect with the voters.” said Sanjay Singh.
