AAP national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today promised a fair deal to the employees of Punjab government and announced to implement the report of 6th pay commission within 100 days of forming government. He also sought an explanation from PPCC President Capt Amarinder Singh on cheating the youth with false promises of providing them 60 lakh jobs.Addressing a press conference here at Amritsar Arvind Kejriwal said that Punjab Government had set up the 6th pay commission but its report is not read yet."We will ensure that report is submitted in time bound period and also implemented within 100 days of forming government. He said that AAP government would ensure that all installments of Dearness Allowance (DA) announced by the center government were given to Punjab employees within one month.

"The present SAD-BJP government had not paid arrears of previous DA installments and even pensioner's arrears of 5th pay commission are still pending. We will give Diwali bonus to all employees much before the Diwali Day", he promised. 

Kejriwal Poses five questions to Capt AmarinderPosing five questions to PPCC President, Arvind Kejriwal nailed the lie of providing 60 lakh jobs to youth if Congress is voted to power. He said that presently there are only 4 laky sanctioned posts in Punjab. The total number of central employees is around 55 lakhs. He asked Capt Amarinder Singh why he was cheating youth of Punjab with false promise of job to every house. He added that Capt Amarinder Singh was always against government jobs and he had completely banned recruitment in vacant posts when he came to power in 2002. During his tenure he didn't fill even a single post and asked him why people of Punjab should trust him this time. In fact it was Capt Amarinder who imposed a ban on the recruitment drive in the Punjab government departments after issuing a notification in this regard.

 He also disclosed that it was Capt Amarinder who introduced the trend of employing people on contract and adhoc basis.  He further said that it was during the tenure of Capt Amarinder Singh that pension scheme for government employees was abolished then how he can promise to give pensions to employees. "AAP government would restore the old pension scheme for state employees", Kejriwal made the commitment.Kejriwal pointed that during a TV interview Capt in reply to a question admitted that he lost last two elections in 2007 and 2012 because he had not made false promises with people. Kejriwal asked Capt Amarinder Singh," Is this is the reason you are making so many false promises which you can’t fulfill.  

Delhi Chief Minister also asked Capt Amarinder Singh had he taken permission of Congress party's undeclared candidate of CM's post Navjot Sidhu before making these unrealistic promises. "Sidhu had refused to join AAP when we denied him post of Deputy Chief Minister and it is fact that he had decided to support Congress after he was given promise of CM's post", kejriwal quipped. He added that Rahul Gandhi was annoyed with Capt Amarinder Singh and would dump him after using him for campaigning.

 Kejriwal said that he had asked Capt Amarinder Singh," Why he is so keen to contest against me and not against Badals or Majithia. I am not selling drugs, it is Majithia who was involved in drug racket, not me. We are fighting against Badals and Majithia because defeating them is more important. He said AAP had fielded strong candidates against Parkash Singh Badal, Sukhbir Singh Badal and Bikram Singh Majithia."He accused Capt Amarinder for using his influence with Sonia Gandhi to save Bikram Majithia from CBI in 2013 when he was about to be arrested in drug case. "I will advise Capt Amarinder Singh to be loyal to people of Punjab rather than his nephew Bikram Majithia". He said that this "Chacha-Bhatija" game is over now.Replying to a question Kejriwal said that AAP will give a CM who will wake up at 5 in the morning and work till 10 pm in the evening and will be available to public all the time. Capt Amarinder Singh, the AAP convener said didn't meet anybody after 6 PM. He also said that unlike Capt Amarinder Singh who has his interests in Pakistan, the AAP CM  would be loyal to his wife.
