Arvind Kejriwal meets former MP Ramdas Agarwal to discuss current economic issues

National Convener of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today met the founder president of International Vaish Federation and former MP Ramdas Agarwal to discuss current issues pertaining to the business community.Kejriwal especially visited the residence of eminent social worker Agarwal at Gurugram, where he was recuperating from his illness for some time.The key issue of on-going demonetisation and its adverse impact on the business community was discussed between the two leaders in length.Agarwal said that the Vaish community and all the businessmen stands ready to contribute to the country's development and progress and claimed that business community was always made target by the Inspector Raj during the regime of both Congress and BJP.

While wishing speedy recovery of Agarwal, Kejriwal said that AAP is committed to chalk out any policy related to business community by taking all the stakeholders into confidence.Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal explained how under the consultation of business community, Delhi Government reduced the Value Added Tax (VAT) on several items and with the support of traders, revenue of state increased even after such a steep reduction in VAT.“When we reduced VAT, our opposition parties were making fun of us and even claimed that our government will go bankrupt”, Kejriwal said adding that this shows if you win the confidence of stakeholders, situation could turn into positive.Kejriwal said Ramdas Ji gave his entire life to the Vaish community and he hope that in the future also he (Ramdas ji) would continue to guide him on the key isues concerning the community.
