“Congress is a sinking ship and nobody would ever like board it. Even the Congress candidates know that they have lost connect with the voters of state and now are shying away from facing the elections.” AAP Member of Parliament and Chairman Campaign Committee, Bhagwant Mann while reacting on the Congress ticket distribution said that.Talking about the recent development of Amargarh Congress candidate Surjeet Dhiman’s denial to contest elections on Congress ticket, Mann said that he knows that the people will not vote for congress this time as they are looking for an alternative in politics and AAP fulfils that condition.“Apart from Amargarh, the voices of dissent are coming from Sunam, Bathinda, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Ferozepur, Batala, Dera Baba Nanak etc. As usual the different camps in Congress are given their share in ticket distribution and win ability and hard work is no criteria in Congress. ”“This is sure sign of Congress defeat in Punjab. Even after so strong anti-incumbency against Akali-BJP government, people are not ready to vote for Congress as the party has failed to protect the rights of people in state.” Mann said. “Hopefully this will the last election of Congress party in Punjab as it is on the verge of extinction in whole country.” He quipped.Mann said that the Congress party has failed to raise the voice of people in state assembly as well as in Lok Sabha that lead to the humiliating defeat of Congress in last state elections as well as in general elections. “Congress leadership including Captain is sitting in Delhi and waiting for tickets for months and did not visit Punjab for long. Do they think people can trust them now?” asked Mann.
