Cong and SAD lists full of nepotism, corrupt & criminal leaders

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today ridiculed the lists of candidates released by both the congress and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) which clearly shows how both the parties clearly banked on absolute nepotism, corrupt and criminal leaders.Chairman Campaign Committee and Sangrur MP, Bhagwant Mann said both the lists of congress and SAD are largely identical as majority of the candidates declared by them are either from the same family or were involved in criminal and corrupt practices.Mann said in fact the congress list of 61 candidates released yesterday by the party clearly showed that the one of who leads the party has been the mascot of nepotism and corruption.“In fact the congress has set a precedent of sorts that the bigger the corruption bigger the license its leader gets to lead the party. PPCC, Chief Capt Amarinder fulfills all the conditions for being leader of the congress whether it is nepotism or corruption. Capt Amarinder has been stashing huge sums of money in the Swiss bank accounts of the family while being the Chief Minister. Similarly, he was one of the key accused in the multi crore scams pertaining to Ludhiana city centre and Aamritsar Improvement land. Probably that’s why the congress high command chose him to lead”, said Mann.
Similarly other congress candidates such as Fathejung Singh Bajwa and Gurkirant Singh Kotli are brothers of the sitting MPs.Rajinder Kaur Bhattal has been MLA for the last 25 years and so are Rana Gurjit Singh, Brahm Mohindra, Razia Sultana, Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi, Sunil Jakhar and many more. What have they achieved for the people of Punjab by being MLAs for so long?Capt Amarinder also belied his promise to give one ticket to one family. Angad Saini from Nawanshahr is son of sitting MLA Guriqbal Kaur Babli, Sukhjinder Singh Danny is son of former congress minister Sardul Singh, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa son of former congress minister Santokh Singh Randhawa and Vijay Inder Singla is the son of late congress leader Sant Ram Singla.Mann said similarly the SAD has become a party of son and dad (SAD). Parminder Singh Dhindsa, Harminder Pal Singh Chandumajra, Ranjit Singh Talwandi, Barjinder Singh Makhan, Vardev Singh Mann, Inder Iqbal Singh Atwal, Amarpal Singh Boni, Suba Singh Badal all are sons of devoted Akali leaders. Not to forget Bikram Singh Majithia and Adesh Partap Singh Kairon, who are brother in laws of Sukhbir Singh Badal. The whole world knows how Majithia has been questioned for his direct involvement in the multi crore drug rackets by the ED and how Capt Amarinder Singh saved him from the CBI probe.Tota Singh who has been convicted by court and still facing corruption charges and his son Makhan both have been able to find a place in the SAD list. Gulzar Singh Ranike, Sucha Singh Langah, Sewa Singh Sekhwan, Nirmal Singh Kahlon who all faced corruption charges have managed to sneak into the Akali list, said Mann.Mann said it was an open secret that Noni, Dimpy, Raju, Rozy, Bunty, Makkar are the candidates who are involved sand, land, cable and transport mafia.
