Div Com inspects ongoing works at CUK

The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmed Khan accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal today inspected the upcoming campus of Central University of Kashmir (CUK) at Tullmulla Ganderbal and took stock of the progress of ongoing works.The Div Com directed NBCC Ltd. and other executing agencies to complete the pre-engineering structure in a stipulated time.On the occasion, the Div Com also interacted with locals and gave patient hearing to their grievances.He assured them that their grievances would be given due consideration on priority.Later, the Divisional Commissioner also chaired a meeting at Mini-Secretariat Ganderbal convened to review Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls of the Ganderbal and Bandipora Districts.The meeting was attended by District Election Officers of Ganderbal, and Bandipora, besides Deputy District Election Officers, EROs, and AEROs of both the districts.During the meeting, various matters including verification of existing polling stations, workshops with political parties/NGO’s, door to door visit of BLOs for registration of new voters/missing voters, preparation of detailed action plan for SVEEP etc were threadbare discussed.Div Com stressed the officers to put in all their efforts and accomplish the pre-revision activities within the stipulated/Scheduled timeline.
