AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er. Rasheed has strongly condemned the mutilation of bodies of Majid Zargar and Raheel Amin, arrest of Kashmiri lecturer Shahnawaz Ahmad in Bani and ill treatment given to Professor Khursheed Indrabi, the Vice Chancellor of Kashmir University. In a statement issued today Er. Rasheed said “All differences do got buried once someone is dead, may he be security personnel, a militant, a common man or even a criminal. Disrespecting dead bodies is a crowdedly act and deserves strongest condemnation. Let those who did this inhuman and immoral act understand that mutilating the dead bodies has created more love and sympathy in the hearts of masses for the deceased. The arrest of Kashmiri Lecturer Shahnawaz Ahmad Dar in Banni, made on the complaint lodged by his students, is based on nullified intentions. It should be matter of concern for all of us that while teachers deserve tremendous respect not from students but every section of society, the fanatic and radical elements have started exploiting students to defame the intellectual class of Muslim community. State Administration seems to be keen bent to hurt the self-respect of a particular community and let the parents whose children made a false complaint against the teacher realize that they are ruining carrier of their own children by allowing them to disrespect their teacher”. Er. Rasheed also condemned the ill treatment given to professor Khursheed Indrabi during his journey on National Highway by the cops and asked police officials to dare and give the same treatment to dozens of so called VIP’s including Ministers who do break laws many times a day and do also use the prohibited black coated films on their vehicle. Er. Rasheed asked why should not be those police officers booked for the sudden death of Gh. Hassan Bhat of Harmain who suffered a stroke after his son was slapped with second draconian PSA.(CNS)
