To review the  Physical and financial  achievements under various components of National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Shabir Ahmed Bhat convened a meeting of District Health Society , Rajouri  here today.Issues regarding demarcation of the land of District Hospital , purchase of small machinery and equipments for various health institutions, status of recruitment process in respect of vacant posts of class -IV besides the installation of ATM and coffee point in new District Hospital Rajouri  were discussed during the meeting.Chief Medical Officer informed the meeting  that health sector of the district has shown positive upright graph in all the sectors this year. Under JSY, 6011 institutional deliveries have been registered while as 5722 pregnant women have been provided free diagnosis under JSSK in the district till date.It was also given out that department has organized 82 immunization camps in high risk areas besides four blood donation camps and 27 awareness camps for creating awareness among the common masses.Under school health check-up programme the department organized camps in 458 schools wherein 24522 students were screened.Later, Deputy Commissioner also convened a meeting of District Advisory Committee on PC&PNDT during which he stressed on strict implementation of the Act.The meeting  among others was attended by ADDC Rajouri   A.S. Chib, programme officer ICDS,  Nazir Sheikh ,  ACR Rajouri,   Paramjeet singh,  DSWO Dr.Abdul Khabir,Chief Medical Officer,Dr. Muhammad Younis, EXEn PHE Nisar Hussain  EXEn PDD, BMOs and  other members of District Health society.
