Div Com reviews progress of Special Summary Revision

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, today convened a meeting with officers of Revenue Department at Baramulla and Kupwara to review the progress of Summary Revision of Electoral rolls and process of EPICs, Photos EPs and gender ratio in both the districts.The concerned District Election Officers informed the Divisional Commissioner about the status of works under summary revision as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India. Speaking on the occasion, the Divisional Commissioner impressed upon the officers to complete the enrolment process of new voters who have attended the age of 18 years as on January 01, 2017. He directed the election authorities of these districts to conduct awareness programmes at gross root level.
