Punjab Convener of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Gurpreet Singh Waraich today lambasted PPCC Chief Captain Amarinder Singh and his family for amassing huge sums of money and assets of loot on foreign land and thereafter day-dreaming of becoming the Chief Minister of Punjab while common man suffers in long queues in banks.Waraich said Income Tax Charge-sheet against Captain Amarinder Singh and his son Raninder Singh has vindicated the stand of AAP in which its national convener Arvind Kejriwal dared Prime Minister Narindra Modi to bring back ill-gotten money stashed by the erstwhile Maharaja and his family in the Swiss Bank account.Punjab Convener of AAP said during his recent 11 days tour to Punjab in which Kejriwal addressed nearly 22 public rallies all across Punjab, he had publicly announced the Swiss Bank Account numbers of Captain Amarinder’s wife Parneet Kaur and their son Raninder Singh.“It is rally heart-breaking to see the common man is suffering and even dying in long queues outside the banks, while people like Captain Amarinder Singh, who has gathered huge amount of black money in Swiss Bank is day-dreaming of becoming Chief Minister of Punjab”, Waraich said.Why Badals have made stony silence on the black money stashed by Captain Amarinder Singh in Swiss Bank, that too even after the foreign bank accounts of Amarinder and his family were made public by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal? Quipped Waraich.
He said Captain Amarinder Singh’s day-dreaming is further facilitated by Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and his son Sukhbir Badal by withdrawing a multi-crore corruption case against him in the last month. In fact Badals have also not made any headway in the Ludhiana’s City Centre Scam in the last 10 years in which Captain Amarinder Singh stands prime accused in the multi-crore scam, Waraich added.Even the AAP’s claim of nexus between Badals and Amarinder Singh to contest assembly polls jointly was visible recently during a summit in Delhi in which both Captain Amarinder and Badals were seen in political fear of AAP, Waraich said.“It was also evident during the Summit in which Sukhbir Badal was gloating over the fact that he had touched Captain Amarinder Singh’s feet, out of sheer respect while later reminded him that he (Captain) also did not forget to send crates of Diet Cokes in Nabha jail for both father and son, while they were lodged in prison in a corruption case”, Waraich said.Waraich said that whole world saw both Captain Amarinder Singh and Sukhbir Badal criticising AAP and their claim that the new rookie would get only few seats in Punjab.“In fact Captain Amarinder Singh and Sukhbir Badal living in a “Fool’s paradise” and are far away from the ground reality of Punjab, where people have already decided to send both Congress and SAD-BJP packing in the 2017 assembly polls”, he said.
