Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura attends inaugural function of Agrotech-2016 at Chandigarh

Minister for Agriculture Production, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura was special invitee at the 12th CII Agrotech-2016 which was inaugurated by President, Parnab Mukherjee, here today.Hanjura had detailed discussions with the Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Radha Mohan Singh on a wide range of issues concerning the agriculture sector of the state.During the event, Hanjura was briefed by the CII representatives regarding the new technological initiatives available in the agriculture sector which will help transform the agriculture scenario of the country at large and the state of Jammu and Kashmir in particular.Supported by the Ministries of Agriculture & Food Processing Industries, Government of India, Agrotech has been developed as a platform between the Farm Producers and the Agro Industry. The exhibition offers varied business opportunities to the technology holders as well as practical learning to the technology users thereby creating linkages for value creation and value addition.
