DDC reviews progress under SBM

District Development Commissioner, Mir Altaf Ahmad, today convened a meeting to review the progress made under Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) Gramin in the district.During the meeting, it was informed that against the financial target of Rs. 25.03 crore, an amount of Rs. 20.28 crore has been spent in the district till date resulting in construction of 1450 Individual House Hold Latrines (IHHL) and 15 Community Sanitary Complexes.The DDC directed the implementing agency to speed up the pace of work so that physical and financial targets fixed for the current fiscal are achieved in full.The meeting also reviewed the progress on execution of decisions taken in the last District Development Board meeting.The DDC directed the concerned to intensify their efforts for timely execution and implementation of the DDB decisions.
