Amid the raging controversy over Former Akali Minister Sarwan Singh Phillaur into the Congress over his drug mafia links, today Former MP & Prominent AAP Supporter Jagmeet Singh Brar lashed out at PPCC Chief Captain Amarinder Singh and said “The same man who held a Gutka in his hand and swore to punish all Drug dealers in Punjab is now garlanding one of the most well known drug suppliers in Punjab - he protected Majithia from a CBI probe, he allowed Bhola’s case to collapse in court and now he is openly hugging drug dealers”It is pertinent to mention that Sarwan Singh Phillaur was dropped from the Akali cabinet after his son’s name came up in a high profile drug case and both father and son have been interrogated by the ED in the famous Jagdish Bhola Drug case, and that the case is still under investigation.Brar flayed Capt and added “Capt gave clean chits to Tytler and Kamal Nath in the ’84 case, now he will shamelessly give one more to Phillaur too - he held a Gutka in his hand and swore to fight drugs now he has dropped the Gutka and picked up drug money to fund his campaign. 

Captain will fall to any level and sell his soul to anyone for his political gain”He also mocked Capt’s resignation over the SYL issue and said “First he ran away from Patiala as MLA, then cheated Amritsar as MP and never set foot in the Lok Sabha - he has a 3% attendance record, he emailed his resignation because if he went himself the Speaker won’t even recognise him. What is the point of resigning from a post that he never worked on - I dare him to show when he spoke about Punjab in Parliament, did he ever even mention SYL in Delhi? Eh Khandaani Dhokhebaaz Ne.. Why did Amarinder get all his MLAs to resign - wouldn’t it have been better if all sitting MLAs and MPs went to the President - Why hasn’t Bajwa, Dullo, Bittu or Ambika Soni resigned ?”
