Kavinder Gupta lays foundation of Rs 1.09 cr road widening project

The Government is committed to improve basic amenities for the people, stated the Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta after inaugurating widening work of a road to be executed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.09 crore at Channi Himmat here. The road will facilitate the people of Channi as well as adjoining areas.Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker said the development process in the state is witnessing a new era of progress and prosperity due to the innovative initiatives of present dispensation. “It is our prime concern to ensure that no part of the state remains deprived of essential services as the people have shown firm faith in the initiatives of  the government by extending their complete cooperation and it becomes responsibility of the administration to live up to their expectations in all respects”, the Speaker asserted.He instructed the executing agencies to ensure expeditious completion of the road work so that the facility is dedicated to the people in the prescribed timeframe. He maintained that there are so many such development projects being executed in the area and expressed hope that the locals will monitor the same for effective outcome. SDM South, Sonu Pargal, Executive Engineers PWD and ERA besides other officers accompanied the Speaker.
